Stefano Gabbana thinks that London men are among the most stylish in the world.
The Italian designer - who founded the Dolce & Gabbana label with his former partner Domenico Dolce in 1985 - revealed that they agreed to design a range of suits for English soccer team Chelsea FC because they consider men from the UK capital to top the fashion stakes.
He explained: "We take inspiration from London in every collection. It's my favourite city in the world. We are based in Milan but we just love London. The men are so stylish - when the occasion came to work with Chelsea, we had to take it."
The designer admitted that London has "always been a source of inspiration for our work,"
However despite the fact that they think London men are stylish, the designer duo have gone for a "sexy" Italian design for the football team.
Stefano told the Evening Standard: "We've tried to give the Chelsea players the fit of D&G. "We've done things the Italian way and with the shirt, jacket and tie - tried to make them sexy."
